How’d you get into education? Teaching is something I have always thought about doing but never seriously pursued until after college. My first taste of teaching was in a youth leadership program for my church. I loved it so much that I stayed for seven years! After I graduated from college I taught preschool for a short period of time and realized that I wanted to go on to teach elementary school. Right now I’m in the process of earning my credential and I’m counting down the months until I become a full-fledged TEACHER!
What is your purpose in education? To get kids excited to LEARN and keep on learning. I want to help them reach their full potential and realize that they are all intelligent and talented individuals who have a lot to offer.
